Bridges

At Colden Dental Care, we pride ourselves in providing patients with the highest quality of workmanship and precision for all crown and bridge procedures.

A dental bridge may be recommended if you are missing one or more teeth.  A bridge spans the empty space replacing it with a prosthetic tooth.  The bridge is attached to sound teeth or implants on either side of the empty space via dental crowns.  The bridge is cemented in place and is not removable.

There are different materials that a bridge can be fabricated from including porcelain, metal or a combination of both.

Teeth on each side of the empty space are prepared to accommodate a bridge.  An impression is then taken and sent to the dental laboratory for fabrication of a customized bridge.

Dental bridges require a “flossing aid” in order to clean under them.
