Tooth Whitening

A bright smile is always in style!  One of the many aesthetic treatment options provided at Colden Dental Care is professional whitening.  We offer several professional whitening alternatives including custom-whitening trays, internal bleaching and intense in-office whitening.  Colden Dental Care is equipped with the two most effective and internationally recognized in-office whitening systems, which are KoR® and ZOOM!®.

Colden Dental Care currently works with the following whitening systems.

Custom-Whitening Trays can be made for individuals to utilize at home.  An impression of the teeth is taken in the dental office and sent to a dental laboratory for fabrication of a customized whitening tray.  Whitening gel is added to the tray to remove discolorations and brighten the teeth.

Internal Bleaching is utilized for an isolated discolored tooth that has had a root canal.  The whitening is done from inside the tooth and will eliminate the stained tooth structure to match the shade of the adjacent teeth.

In-Office Whitening is designed for individuals who desire immediate results.  The procedure involves protecting the gum tissue and applying a high-strength professional whitening gel to the teeth.  Depending on the customized whitening system selected, the procedure may involve the use of a blue light.  The results vary depending on the tone and intensity of the stained teeth.  Nevertheless, most individuals achieve phenomenal results and leave the office shades whiter!
