Veneers

One of the many aesthetic treatment options offered at Colden Dental Care is dental veneers.  A veneer is a thin tooth-colored covering that is placed over the front of the tooth.  It is a popular treatment option for teeth that are severely discolored, crooked, poorly shaped or chipped.  Dental veneers are also utilized to close spaces between the teeth or to create a brighter, whiter smile!

Dental veneers may be fabricated from tooth-colored filling material or ceramic.  Sometimes dental veneers are made chairside and other times by a dental laboratory requiring more than one appointment.   A small amount of tooth structure is typically removed from the front of the tooth in order to accommodate the veneer.
